Electrolysis
Electrolysis itself is a well-known and effective method of hair removal for the treatment of stubborn facial hair.
Unwanted hair growth can cause distress, embarrassment and poor self-esteem. It is often the case that electrologists witness a dramatic transformation in their clients from shy, social recluse at the beginning of a course of treatments to a confident and happy individual once treatment is underway.
The treatment works by passing a small amount of energy into the hair follicle through a very fine needle, each hair will need to be treated more than once due to its growth cycle, however good results can often be seen after the first couple of treatments.
Electrolysis permanently removes unwanted hair safely, excellent for areas such as the upper lip, chin, nipples, bikini line where hair may have previously been tweezed, suitable for all hair types, especially hairs which have lost their natural colour and are otherwise difficult to eliminate. Disposable, insulated probes are used for each treatment. Consultations are free of charge.
The cost of treatments is worked out in units of time and you will only ever be charged for the treatment time you have. To avoid treatments being cut short please arrive in good time for the start of your appointment.
Clients are advised not to have any form of heat treatment immediately before, or for 24 hours following electrolysis e.g. sauna, sun beds, hot baths, body treatments or swimming.
